Reiter makes cut in Australian Open

Charlie Reiter's holiday golfing excursion to Australia will last at least two more days.

Reiter, the Palm Desert High School senior golfer, was one of 68 players to make the cut in the Australian Open golf championship Friday at the Australian Golf Club in Sydney. Reiter, making his first start in a professional tournament, shot rounds of 75 and 69 for a 144 total, exactly the number needed to advance to the third round.
